We are recruiting a Bookkeeper to join our team

- Bookkeeping: 2 year (preferred)
**Full Job Description**
**Bookkeeper Responsibilities**
- Accurately enter invoices, expense claims, and customer payments.
- Work with other teams to resolve problems and ensure that account codes, amounts, and tax treatment are correct.
- Compile and enter receipts for credit card statements and communicate with suppliers as needed to resolve missing or incorrect information.
- Reconcile bank and other financial accounts.
- Record and post transactions in journals and general ledger
- Keep financial records and maintain general ledger
- Reconcile accounts
- Familiar with QuickBooks and Excel
**Bookkeeping Skills**
- Attention to detail: you follow written instructions and enter data correctly and consistently.
- Communication skills: you explain ideas and issues in a way that others will easily understand, both in writing and face-to-face.
- You have the ability to organize and prioritize your tasks, and coordinate with the team on shared work.
- You are comfortable using spreadsheets.
- Familiarity with charts of accounts, journal entries, or accounting software is helpful.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills Detail oriented
- Proficient in Quickbooks (both desktop and on-line version)
- Proficient in Excel
- Working knowledge Traverse an asset
- Experience with all aspects of general bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and HST
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
