**Position Description**

The Medical Reporting Curator in the Department of Medical Affairs is responsible for database maintaining and preparing content in support of Geneseeq’s clinical reporting. This position manages projects and participates in scientific and operational development related content generation to support the creation of a high-quality report for each client that incorporates information from scientific and medical resources.

**Responsibilities**

Collaborate with other scientists to review and refine existing medical content and database;
Organize, refine, and revise report information into concise and comprehensive formats for patient and physician to understand;
Support development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs);
Maintain up-to-date database content;
Support managing day-to-day operational aspects of reporting process;
Contribute to software development process to support report generation;
Other duties as assigned.

**Position requirements**

Master’s Degree in Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry or closely related field
Familiar with oncology, molecular biology and genetics

Knowledge of hematological cancers would be an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Strong organizational, administrative, and analytical skills
Ability to perform careful work under deadline pressure
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with strong attention to detail
Ability to perform assignments independently with mínimal supervision
Excellent problem solving and collaboration skills
Understanding of HIPAA/PHIPA and the importance of privacy of patient data
