Bioscience Account Manager- Inside Sales Rep Ii

**How will you make an impact?**
This will be a hybrid based position, both office and remote based with up to 25% Travel required both domestic and international.
**What will you do?**
**PLAN PERFORMANCE & SALES SKILLS**: Consistently achieve or exceed the territory sales plan & demonstrate use of strategic selling skills remotely & in person to penetrate & grow current & new business.
**ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION**: Develop, write, and implement a business plan for assigned territory annually, updated quarterly.
Regularly develop & lead customer facing meetings, events, presentations and customer proposals with assistance of support teams.
Use data sources to analyze and capitalize on territory opportunities with the greatest value. Maintain and increase current customer database through Thermo Fisher’s customer relations management (CRM) system (Salesforce).
Communicate key activities, trends, and changing customer dynamics as well as account objectives and action to management regularly.
Collaborate with entire commercial ecosystem including the Research and Safety Division and the Genetic Sciences Division.
**SALES TRAINING**: Participate in programs as presented by the company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with the Thermo Fisher philosophy, policies and procedures. Overnight travel (0-25%) may be required for these trainings & meetings.
**How will you get here?**
**Education**
- HS Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field, preferred. Master's degree a plus.
**Experience**
- Molecular or Cell Biology wet lab experience preferred
- Selling and/or customer contact experience desired
- Digital skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, or like programs required
**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**
- Must be able to travel to the US
- Must possess strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication & presentation skills
- Self-directed, persistent & goal oriented
- Able to work effectively independently & collaboratively
- Must possess the organizational skills to multi-task & work in a highly matrixed environment
- Exhibit a high degree of flexibility to adapt in a constantly evolving environment
- Overnight travel may be required for customer visits, trainings & meetings
