Ecommerce Merchandise Planning Analyst

As the eCommerce Merchandise Planning Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in delivering to market a variety of initiatives to fuel our Digital Retail D2C (direct to consumer) and Omnichannel Experience strategy. You will partner with multiple teams: Merchandising, Global Planning, Logistic, Digital, Finance, as well as other partner teams across the BRP ecosystem to launch memorable experiences and help the organization achieve its transformation and market growth objectives.

You will help us shape our transformation effort by collaborating cross-functionally to build our direct-to-consumer retail planning practice for an assortment of parts, accessories & apparel collections. You will be responsible for forecasting sales, reviewing demand plans, managing inventory levels, addressing any business opportunities and challenges.

**YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO**:
Collaborate in forecasting the sales at the country/brand/category level for the eCommerce channel that align with BRP’s vision, financial objectives, and customer experience goals.

In collaboration with the global planning team ensure proper forecasts of all SKU available in our catalogue, flag any potential event that could affect the demand.

Monitor inventory positions to maximize sales, profitability and achieve targets for all product categories.

Evaluate actual results against the plan, identify opportunities to increase sales and recommend appropriate actions.

Perform sales analysis and scenarios as needed to support business decision-making.

Develop and build standardized reports to perform in season performance analysis and post mortems at season ending to provide insights to the merchandising team.

THIS ROLE IS A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A Bachelor or Master’s degree in business or other equivalent.

3-5 years of experience in eCommerce, Marketplace or Retail merchandise planning role.

Familiarity with the automotive, powersports industry would be a definite asset.

Demonstrated planning skills with experience managing an Open-to-Buy.

Demonstrated retail math and business acumen, including margin planning, selling and inventory productivity measures.

Advanced proficiency in Excel.
