**The Role**:
As the Health Lead at Community Living BC, you are primarily responsible for managing the relationship with Health Authorities throughout the province to develop and maintain consistency, continuity, and equitability among the various specialized and mainstream health and mental health services required by people eligible for CLBC services. In this position, you will play an integral project management role to ensure health projects are planned and delivered on time, on budget, and in a manner that is responsive to individuals requiring health services.

Key responsibilities include:

- Supporting the development, maintenance, and understanding of partnership agreements with Health
- Leading and supporting the development of multi-partner initiatives that address the complex health needs of individuals
- Supporting the development of access to regional and provincial health/mental health services through networking with local health systems, health authorities, professional bodies/colleges/associations/programs, advocates, and others engaged in health
- Working with regional and provincial health and mental health programs to ensure accessibility/accommodations for individuals with disabilities
- Coordinating, participating in and/or leading various regional and provincial committees and working groups

**Qualifications**:

- Undergraduate (graduate degree preferred) in a related discipline or an equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training. Preference will be given to applicants who have Allied Health/Nursing or other related education.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 5-years) working with people with Developmental/Intellectual disabilities and/or in the health system, and/or experience directly related to health system partnerships, multi-sector collaboration, research, design and/or social innovation.
- Experience/Education/ training in cultural safety, GBA+, and trauma informed practice
- An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.

**Travel and Flexibility**:This position can be located in Victoria, Nanaimo or Greater Vancouver. Utilizing a hybrid working model, this position combines on-site in office work with work-from-home flexibility. Regular overnight travel as required to all communities within the catchment area of CLBC. Use of own vehicle on expenses. Possession of a Class 5 driver's license and a clean driver's abstract is required.

Classification/Salary: Social Program Officer 30 / $79,530 to $90,884 annually
