The George Hull Centre is pleased to be launching the Sexual Abuse Family Education Treatment Program (SAFE-T) and is currently looking for experienced clinicians to join our team.
The SAFE-T Program is a specialized community-based clinic that provides evidence-based assessment and treatment services for: children and youth who have experienced intrafamilial sexual abuse; children with concerning sexual behaviours and youth who have engaged in sexually harmful behaviours within their families and/or the community. The SAFE-T Program also provides consultation & training and conducts research.
Working within a multi-disciplinary team our clinicians will provide comprehensive clinical assessments and treatment including individual, family, and group therapy for children, youth and families who have been impacted by sexual abuse. They will provide clinical case co-ordination and work collaboratively with other agencies and participate in providing specialized training and consultation within the SAFE-T Program, the George Hull Centre and the community. Working together with the team Managers and Directors, the clinicians will take on special projects to support the continued development and evaluation of the SAFE-T Program.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- **Master’s degree** in social work (or equivalent) from a university of recognized standing
- Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers or membership in the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
- Post-graduate supervised experience in children's mental health and in family therapy
- Demonstrated ability in the clinical assessment and treatment of children, youth, and families impacted by intrafamilial sexual abuse, children under the age of 12 with concerning sexual behaviours, and youth who have engaged in sexually harming behaviours.
- Demonstrated knowledge of provincial and federal laws regarding the delivery of mental health services related to children, youth and families, including individuals involved in the criminal justice system (i.e. Child, Youth and Family Services Act, Youth Criminal Justice Act etc.)
- Excellent time management skills, proven ability to meet the Clinician job requirements, and dedication to professional development and clinical education are necessary.
- Strong oral communication and written abilities, proficiency in computer skills (i.e. MS Office, MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary clinical team.
- Willingness to collaborate and participate in research and program-evaluation projects.

**HOURS**: 36.25 hours per week including flexible hours and some evening work.
