SW 469 - Social Policy

This course examines the dimensions and practical implications of social policy in the lives of Canadians. Political, economic, and cultural influences over social policy are explored, as well as the skills needed to develop social policy and its relationship with the profession of social work.

MSW plus experience related to course content.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

This course is currently scheduled for Mondays from 11:30 - 2:15 p.m.

This course will be taught face-to-face - in-class on-site at Regina Campus (synchronous).

The fall term is September 4 - December 6, 2024 (excluding exams).
