**SW 418 Social Work with Immigrants and Refugees**
This course examines the experiences of immigrants and refugees and the role of social work. Issues of multiculturalism within Canadian society and regional perspectives are recognized as well as cultural and religious diversity and issues of systemic oppression.

Position Requirements

A MSW is preferred. MSW plus experience related to course content is acceptable.

Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours

This course is currently scheduled for Tuesdays from 7:00 - 9:45 p.m.

This course will be taught face-to-face in-class on-site at Regina Campus (synchronous).

The fall term is August 30 - December 5, 2023 (excluding exams).
