SW 460 - Ethics in Social Work
This course is designed to sensitize students to the central role of ethics in contemporary social work. Theoretical foundations in social work ethics and the relationship between diverse value systems in Canadian society will be critically analyzed. Emphasis is on various ethical dilemmas and ethical issues facing social workers.
Position Requirements
A MSW is preferred. MSW plus experience related to course content is acceptable.
Physical Demands Pay Grade Faculty Sessional Salary Range As per URFA Collective Agreement Status Term Work Hours
This course is currently scheduled for Mondays from 8:30 - 11:15 a.m.
This course will be taught face-to-face - in-class on-site at Saskatoon Campus (synchronous).
The fall term is August 30 - December 5, 2023 (excluding exams).
