**What you will be doing**:

- Process cash receipts, disbursements and payables, including entering A/P and A/R in accounting system
- Assist with processing general journal entries, as needed
- Process payroll functions and generate payroll reports as needed, including updating compensation statements, calculating quarterly entitlement reports, etc.
- Assist in generating program, department, and organizational budget reports as needed
- Assist with the financial statements audit
- Other admin tasks as required

**What you bring**:

- A certificate, degree, or diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in bookkeeping software, ideally Sage Accounting
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook & Word)
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical intuition and problem-solving skills
- Quick learner with a keen interest in developing accounting skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work independently with mínimal supervisor and direction
- Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment
- Ability to effectively and courteously communicate written and verbal information and to clarify requirements

**This Position**:
This is a permanent, part-time position for 21 hours, 3 days per week (.6 FTE), working 2 days per week in our Joyce Street office and 1 day either in office or remotely.
