**The Contract R&D Lab Technician**

As a member of our Research and Development team, the _Contract R&D Lab Technician_ is responsible for lab preparation, testing, tracking, and analysis of chemical and/or biological samples.

**A day in the life of a Contract R&D Lab Technician might include**
- Preparing formulation samples for internal testing, external lab tests, or sample requests.
- Recording and tracking observations from all formulation preparation and tests.
- Conducting analytical chemistry tests such as various titrations.
- Conduct weekly inventory of all lab consumables and chemicals to ensure the lab is well-stocked with necessary resources.
- Assisting with compatibility and corrosion studies.
- Assisting with HPLC analysis.
- Other projects and duties, as assigned.

**Does this sound like you?**
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or other related Scientific field.
- 2 years of experience working in a laboratory.
- Experience with HPLC and GLP.
- Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiar with Good Laboratory Practices would be a plus.
- Ability to adhere to safety procedures and work safely with chemicals in accordance with Safety Data Sheets.
- Ability to communicate in both oral and written form.
- Ability to demonstrate a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to demonstrate good time management skills.
- Ability to record and analyze data.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with little supervision.
