Myrtle is an exceptionally unique boutique women’s clothing and gifts for everyone of any age store in St Thomas, Ontario. We carry a variety of unique gift items and an amazing selection of women's clothing in sizes XS-3X. A Superstar Sales Associate with Myrtle Shop Inc is a sales focused individual, who places a high value on customer service, client relationships and body positivity.

The Sales Superstar role entails customer service and sales in fashion, unpacking, receiving and preparing product shipments, steaming and conditioning clothing, social media engagement and advertising, preparing displays and merchandising, handling customer queries and complaints, creating and maintaining connections with customers, processing sales on our POS system, handling cash and customer payments, and promoting the body positive and community focused message of the store.

Our current permanent need is for a part time Sales Consultant who can commit to 15-30 hours per week. The expectation is for our Sales Consultants to work 2-3 weekday (daytime or evening) shifts per week, as well as 2 weekends per month to start. Applicants must have reliable childcare and transportation, and be available for a variety of scheduled shifts between 9:30am and 8pm. This role has potential to turn into full time hours in the fall based on performance.

To be successful in this role, you must have an excellent work ethic, positive attitude, and be able to multitask in a work environment that is often fast-paced. Loving making the perfect sale and smashing personal goals must motivate you. You must must be capable of working collaboratively as part of a team, as well as independently at times (and be self-motivated). You’ll receive a great investment in paid, on-the-job training, but will be expected to self-study and research the products we carry in addition to the training we provide. The role requires you to work a variety of shifts, and flexible hours on weekends and weekdays between 9:30am and 8:30pm. Ability to work evenings and weekends is crucial.
