**The duties of station chef position include, but are not limited to the following**:
- Knife skills
- Follow prescribed safety procedures
- Ability to cook a variety of soups and sauces
- Ability to cook a la carte orders
- Limited pastry skills
- ability to work in garde manger
- ability to work in production kitchen
- Good food presentation skills
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned by supervisor/manager.
**Qualifications/ Requirements**:
*Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
*Must be motivated to learn
*Must have over 5 years of Kitchen experience
*Must have the capability to effectively resolve issues through superior analytical skills with a strong focus and commitment to quality and guest service
*Must have a grade 12 diploma
*Experience working on line, production and pastry is an asset
*Must be a team player
*Must have Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
*Food handler certificate
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability
