**Manager of Technical Services**:
**Summary**:
We are helping our client located in Mississauga, Ontario, find a Manager of Technical Services to join their company on a full-time basis. As a Manager of Technical Services, you will be an integral part of our client's Professional Services (PS) team, responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of their client projects and managing a team of developers and consultants.

Our client is a mid-market recognized NetSuite Alliance Partner consulting firm. Their focus is on putting their client's business needs first and using NetSuite solutions to help them throughout their business journey in the cloud.
They have deep experience in ERP implementation, product development operations consulting, training, development, and customizations. Their team comprises MBAs, CPAs, and Technically certified professionals from various industries. They value their team's passion, accountability, humility, open-mindedness, and humour.
**Responsibilities**:
As a Manager of Technical Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions to our clients, while also prioritizing billables and maintaining high standards of service quality. You will lead and manage a team of developers and consultants, driving their performance and ensuring they meet project objectives and client expectations.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Lead and manage a team of developers and consultants, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to maximize their potential and ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate with the PS team and other stakeholders to define project scope, technical requirements, and deliverables.
- Oversee the development and implementation of customized solutions on the NetSuite platform, ensuring they meet client specifications and industry best practices.
- Manage and prioritize project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure on-time and within-budget project completion.
- Monitor and optimize the team's utilization and billability, ensuring a balanced workload and maximizing revenue generation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the technical services team, driving efficiency, innovation, and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities, including scoping, estimation, and proposal development.
- Stay updated with the latest NetSuite platform enhancements, industry trends, and best practices to drive innovation and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues, mitigate risks, and ensure project success.
**Requirements and skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience working in a NetSuite Consulting firm or as a NetSuite Administrator/Developer.
- Proven experience managing a technical team and delivering successful client projects.
- Strong knowledge of the NetSuite platform, including customization, scripting, workflows, and SuiteApps.
- Solid understanding of ERP systems, business processes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, SuiteCloud Developer) are preferred.
- Experience with other related technologies and platforms (e.g., SuiteCommerce, SuiteAnalytics) is a plus.
