SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for a Superintendent, Supply Chain.

About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance & Support Operations, the Superintendent, Supply Chain will be responsible to manage all supply chain functions within site, including, procurement, logistics and inventory control. You will work with Site Services for proper scheduling of bulk materials that are brought over the ice road.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for developing, implementing, and managing the 1-2-year procurement and materials management plan and delivering the agreed results. This includes adapting departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.- Accountable to develop and manage a high-performance team, delegating them appropriate deliverables and holding them accountable for delivery.- Develops warehouse operations systems (ERP) by determining product handling and storage requirements; developing, implementing, enforcing, and evaluating policies and procedures; developing processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.- Prepare and launch RFQ/RFP processes.- Responsible for the development and delivery of relevant KPI’s and reporting to measure and improve site supply chain performance.- Manage the development, negotiation, implementation, and administration of all contracts.- Ensure compliance of all the Contracts related matters with Corporate, legal, Project, ethics, regulatory, insurance, finance, tax and Health and Safety (HSE) requirements regarding procurement related issues.- Lead, pre-qualification and bid evaluation, contractor/supplier selection, and contract/purchase order award process and track identified gaps, as required, prepare, and obtain approval of bidder list.- Accountable to build organizational alignment to create site efficiencies (e.g., positions, accountabilities and authorities, people, deliverables, tasks).- Assist in the development, implementation and management of the Supply Chain budget associated with inventory.- Provide input on industry standards, best practices, and guidelines, when relevant.
