**Job Description**:
**AECOM** Buildings & Places business line is seeking a Project Coordinator for immediate employment in the Whitby, ON office.

Job Summary:
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

- Assists the Project Manager with planning and execution of project activities for multi disciplinary building engineering design projects,
- Coordinates project work with design groups such as Architecture, Industrial, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, rails, and Civil,
- Plays an active role in records management, budget tracking, and scheduling, and
- Prepares meeting minutes, reports, and other documents.
- Attends site visits and Clients’ meeting.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or relevant field of study) and 2 years related professional experience working as a project coordinator in an engineering business or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education.
- Registered or in process to register with the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience preferred
- Experience coordinating and preparing design submissions for Site Services Connections and Building Permit approvals
- Experience working within a consulting engineering business,
- Must have an understanding of fundamental building science,
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and related documentation,
- Team player with excellent listening skills; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives,
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency,
- Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills,
- Strong organizational skills - ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously,
- Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills, and
- Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively.
