**Anti-Human Trafficking Liaison**
**Pay**: $30.00/hour
**Hours**: Full-time (40 hours per week)

**Job Summary**
This program supports Indigenous communities in providing survivor-focused and localized responses to end Human Trafficking. The Liaisons are located at key partnership sites each supporting one of the five targeted regions: GTA and The Golden Horseshoe area, Ottawa,
Akwesasne, Thunder Bay and Treaty #3.

**Duties**
- Creating a safe and comfortable environment for direct service users.
- Build capacity in survivors, community, and agencies to ensure that Survivor led strategies and initiatives are developed, delivered, and evaluated.
- Advocate for and support Indigenous women to attend appointments and meetings with women and provides transportation as required.
- Provide system navigation within Orillia and Simcoe County.
- Provide targeted outreach to survivors, including supports and educational opportunities that nurture resilience and strengthen Indigenous women in leadership roles.
- Provide cultural and traditional supports in all foundations of capacity building.
- Develop and share resources specific to survivors, agencies who support survivors, and case management structure for those escaping trafficking.
- Develop and coordinate workshops, presentations, and training across sectors/agencies to effect system change.
- Maintains strict confidentiality.
- Purchases required (supplies and materials) for workshops/etc.
- Maintain own budget, inventory of supplies and materials, etc.
- Evaluate and analyze the workshops to ensure effective delivery and agency knowledge retention.
- Collects and compiles statistical data and completes monthly/quarterly/annual reports accurately and on time.
- Attends staff and other meetings, when required.
- Assists ONWG team with major community events and planning.
- Provide reports as required for ONWG management and board.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in a related field (Social Work, Child and

Youth Work, Social Services) or relevant mix of education and lived experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience working with women survivors of trauma.
- Experience working with Indigenous women and their families involved in the correctional system, child welfare system, and/or social welfare system.
- Experience in case management and excellent time management.
- Knowledge and awareness of issues related to Human Trafficking in Ontario, specifically in Simcoe County and surrounding area.
- Strong knowledge of Indigenous and mainstream supports in the community.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent administrative skills, experience drafting reports that include evaluation data/analysis.
- Effective computer skills including MS Office, Outlook, Excel, MS Teams, etc.
- Demonstrated understanding of trauma informed care, cultural safety, and a willingness to train wherever is needed to best represent ONWG’s members.
- Class “G” valid driver’s license required.
- Valid Criminal Reference Check and Vulnerable Sector Screen required.

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Social Work/Social Service Work: 1 year (preferred)
