We are currently looking for a full time contract Media Assistant to assist our permanent staff with project support. This includes, planning, recording, editing, and publishing digital media content including photos and videos.**Who we are**

- Ability to execute industry standards for creating content that is accessible to a wide variety of audiences
- Familiarity with video and audio recording tools
- This position requires your willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends and the ability to travel to different YMCA locations across Guelph, and Waterloo Region. A proven track record of interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with staff, volunteers and clients. An acceptable police record check will also be required upon hire.**What you will gain**

- The applicant must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment.
- The applicant must be a Canadian Citizen, a Permanent Resident or a Refugee under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Please note that international students are not eligible for this position due to the funding requirements.
- This role requires regular travel across the region, which may not always be easily accessible through public transit. The employee must be able to arrange their own transportation to these sites.
