At HTEC Hydrogen Technology & Energy Corporation, we’re unlocking the potential of hydrogen to reduce climate change and air pollution. We’re looking for an experienced builder of a practical ISO aligned quality management systems, robust document control framework, and an enthusiastic driver of continuous improvement initiatives to join our team - someone who will thrive in our collaborative environment where a diverse range of complex new products are designed, engineered, built, and operated with quality and customer satisfaction always top of mind.

In this role you will primarily be responsible for the continual improvement and communication of HTEC’s quality management system, working toward ISO 9001 compliance, as well as maintaining the related supporting systems, tools and documents in our SharePoint environment, and specifying and implementing a companywide document control and electronic document and records management system (EDRMS).

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Systems Manager reporting to the Director of Compliance, will develop, promote, and continuously improve HTEC’s Quality Management System to ensure quality is successfully integrated in all aspects of HTECs operations, and that HTEC products and processes consistently meet established quality standards.

Specifically, you will be responsible to:

- develop, implement, and continuously improve HTEC’s Quality Management System (QMS) and monitor progress against quality-related goals.
- manage the continuous improvement of HTEC's efforts towards ISO 9001 certified Quality Management System (QMS)
- oversee and manage the document control function with support from document control specialists and document control staff
- maintain quality related documents, templates, tools, and platforms (i.e. SharePoint) for the effective management and communication of quality related content.
- coordinate and conduct regular quality audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
- analyze and interpret data from various business, agile, and quality management tools (including customer feedback) to identify potential quality failures and support data-driven decision-making on corrective and other action items.
- collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define, monitor, and report on key quality metrics and action items.
- represent HTEC externally with vendors, auditors, clients etc.
- research, implement and coach the team on other process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, alignment, collaboration, and overall service delivery.
- continue to learn about, share, and recommend new practices and tools useful in HTEC's continuous improvement journey.
- collaborate and share your energy, enthusiasm, and expertise for quality and continuous improvement with the HTEC team and other stakeholders to help deliver an outstanding customer and employee experience.
- develop and encourage strong peer relationships across various disciplines, teams, and geographies.
- use (and improve) HTEC’s Quality Management System to guide daily work.
- actively support and promote workplace health, safety, and wellness.
- perform other relevant duties as may be assigned.

**Requirements**:

- a university degree in a relevant discipline (i.e. business, engineering), or other combination of advanced education and experience (i.e. a college diploma or post-graduate certificate in a quality assurance program plus relevant experience).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in quality management in an ISO 9001 or similar quality management environment for complex multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects and an industrial operating environment.
- success working with all levels of an organization to lead quality and other process improvement initiatives, including building and maintaining ISO certified quality management systems and the related training, auditing, and reporting.
- a proven ability to develop and maintain practical and effective processes and procedures that meet ISO standards, as well as the needs of users.
- ability to analyze and interpret data from business, project, and quality management tools, generate meaningful reports, and present insights and recommendations to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
