**Job description**
- **Support Desk Technician (Full-Time)**_

Small Toronto based MSP is looking for someone who has as much passion for Technology as we do to fill the role of Support Desk Technician. This is a full-time position, from Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. The successful applicant will work from our head office, located in the north-west part of Toronto. Compensation being offered in the range of $48,000 to $56,000 per year, depending on experience.

The details of the position are as follows:
Basic Requirements:

- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience within IT
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (English)
- Positive attitude, comfortable dealing with unhappy customers

Have Experience with:

- Windows systems from XP through Windows10
- Home or Business networks (ie. Internet, routers, wireless, printing)
- Troubleshooting personal computers

Job Duties:

- Provide customers with Level 1 and some Level 2 support via remote control
- Act as dispatch, handling incoming requests from new and existing customers
- Coordinating appointments and orders with customers, technicians and supplier’s
- Oversee the management and maintenance of ticket system per company objective
- Implement, install, configure or otherwise deploy new software or services for customers
- Create and send quotes to customers for hardware, software, product(s) and services
- Monitor, review, assess and take appropriate action on RMM/Security/Other alerts and indicators
- Record technical solutions and customer protocols in Knowledge Base
- Work with and report to owners and/or anyone designated

Not required but considered an Asset:

- Any Certifications
- Knowledge or experience with portable and mobile device (Apple, Android)
- Knowledge or experience A+, Network+, Security+ (Break/fix systems and networks)
- Knowledge or experience in providing IT support to small businesses

The successful applicant will be compensated based on their experience.
