**Job Description**:
The Team Lead position is an administrative and supervisory role that is intended to monitor, report, and support the day-to-day activities of the AP Administration department, and supervising a team of AP Analyst. Duties may include but are not limited to training and recruitment, measuring, and reporting on KPIs and identifying improvement opportunities in the team’s processes.
**Key Job Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage a team of AP Admin Analysts, including task assignment, performance evaluation, training, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Oversee the end-to-end processing cycle, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Managing escalations to ensure that they are resolved appropriately and effectively
- Assessing individual skill gaps and performances, and providing training
- Staff succession planning, recruitment & onboarding
**Education and/or Experience Required**
- Completion of a professional accounting designation or equivalent post-secondary education and/or experience
- 3+ years of experience supervising staff
- Strong technical skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel
**Required Skills/Abilities**
- Good knowledge of accounting is an asset
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Strong communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with proven reliability
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
