**Position Description**:
The primary responsibility of Credentialed Trainer is to lead end-user training for the Epic Program using the curriculum designed by Training Specialists. The Trainer will be responsible for providing role-specific end user training to a wide variety of roles including, but not limited to, Nursing, Professional Services, Administrative, and Clerical staff.

**Key areas of responsibility**

**End-user training**:

- Preparing for Class
- Setting up the classroom
- Facilitating the class
- Administering end-user proficiency assessments and in-system checklists
- Administering in-class evaluation
- Maintaining training records
- Following up on any outstanding questions that arise in the classroom

**Additional Responsibilities related to End User Training and Support**:

- Recommending adjustments and assisting with updating training materials
- Testing lesson plans and training environment build
- Facilitating study halls and personalization labs for providers or other attendees
- Supporting end users with at-the-elbow go-live support

**Education and Experience**
- Completed at least 3 Epic Implementation Training placements as a Credentialed Trainer
- Excellent:

- interpersonal skills
- problem-solving/decision-making skills
- communication skills
- team skills
- presentation skills
- Knowledge and experience in using MS Office, Power point and Excel at the intermediate to expert level.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experienced with Canadian health care preferred
- Hospital work experience preferred
- Broad in-depth knowledge and experience in clinical practice (minimum 5 years)
- Experience in formal classroom training setting with excellent classroom facilitation/speaking skills
