As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting the overall operations of our optometry practice. If you have a passion for healthcare, exceptional customer service skills, and a desire to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, we want to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Perform preliminary screenings and tests, such as color vision, and depth perception, NCT pressures, Auto Refraction.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment for optometrists.
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care.
- Process orders for contact lenses.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using the software Revolution.
- Handle administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing phone calls.
- Taking photos of the eyes and doing visual field testing on patients.
- Working with team members and taking direction from supervisors for additional related tasks.

Full training on site with all equipment. No previous experience needed but preference will be given to those with experience. Flexible hours and various work schedules to accommodate various lifestyles.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
