We are looking for an experienced **Social Media Specialist **to join our Toronto team and support with strong copywriting for NKPR’s digital channels. The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for developing social media strategies and produce content in tandem with PR teams to meet our overall marketing objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop social media strategy and content for brands
- Build content calendars and write copy for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin, website, newsletters, etc)
- Post content and manage engagement, including commenting and responding to DMs
- Ensure the growth of social media channels and development of an engaged online audience
- Manage social media and newsletter campaigns, paid programs, strategic partnerships, and promotions
- Monitor performance and provide regular reports and analysis
- Proactively research, recommend and, execute new social media strategies and tactics

**Qualifications**:

- MUST HAVE strong writing skills with 5+ years social media copywriting for editorial and/or brands
- Experience in Editorial, PR or Marketing preferred
- Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into social media strategies
- Exceptional writing skills with a proven ability to adapt tone based on the audience and brand objectives
- A sharp eye for the details
- Highly-organized self-starter who can balance multiple priorities and drive results
- Accountable and deadline-driven team player
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Media-savvy with interests ranging from pop-culture to business news
