WQS Industrial Services is hiring a **Quality Manager** to join their Operations team, dedicated to excellence in welding and fabrication services. The Quality Manager will oversee welding inspections, manage quality documentation, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. **What You Will Do**
- Manage quality for all aspects for WQS Group of Companies.
- Conduct and oversee CWB Level 2 & Level 1 welding inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures and documentation.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure quality requirements are met throughout all phases of the project.
- Lead internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure regulatory compliance and certifications.
- Provide guidance and training to welding and fabrication teams to enhance quality awareness and skill development.
- Investigate quality issues, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and analyze key quality metrics to drive continuous improvement efforts.
- Travel between the Edmonton and Fort McMurray region, up to 50% of regularly scheduled hours.
- Assist other projects and regions as needed in the implementation of the WQS Quality Program.

**What You Will Bring**
- CSA W178.2 Level 2 certification as a Welding Inspector is required.
- IRATA Rope Access certification or willingness to obtain IRATA certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management or comparable role within the welding, NDT, or fabrication industry.
- In-depth knowledge of welding processes, codes, and standards (ASME & CSA).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies (ISO 9001).
- Valid driver's license with a 3-year driver abstract.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Proven track record of implementing quality improvement initiatives and driving results.
- Must be Fit for Duty at all times and be able to comply with the Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace which includes alcohol and drug testing.
