**Role Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead the quality assurance functions, including the ongoing development of effective quality systems, strenthening audit protocols and ensuring conformance with ISO and API standards.
- Lead efficient and motivated QA and QC teams through ongoing communication, training and feedback in a manner that is consistent with LS vision, value, and mission statements.
- Review non-conformance reporting and assess root causes including leadership of Corrective Preventive Action Request (CPAR) teams when required.
- Responsible Management Representative of the company's quality system, as required by ISO-9001:2015.
- Provide the resources, training and guidance to the QC and Manufacturing teams to support high quality and consistent manufacturing.
- Plan and manage internal supplier and third-party audits of the quality systems.
- Steward the Quality Management Systems (QMS) and associated procedures to maintain compliance with national and international quality standards.
- Focus on continuous improvement of all processes and communicate changes clearly and effectively to all staff and clients.
- Support compliance with ISO 15136-1:2009 Progressing cavity pumps for artificial lifts.
**Who you are**:
- Post-Secondary Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Quality Management/ Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in quality related functions, with at least 5 years in a Leadership role.
- Results driven and assertive with superior written, verbal and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible and able to thrive independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of Artificial Lift products and their components would be considered an asset.
- Training and knowledge of Six Sigma techniques and Lean Manufacturing are not required but considered an asset.
