This Research Associate-Evidence Synthesis Methodologist position is an opportunity to help develop and lead a program of evidence synthesis in kidney disease and transplantation. You will demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills as well as excellent written communication. You will work alongside a team of Scientists, Medical Doctors, Biostatisticians, Epidemiologists, Research Coordinators and international collaborators while being given the independence to manage your responsibilities in your own way.
- Leading systematic reviews
- ????Writing study protocols
- Conducting statistical analyses
- Writing manuscripts for publication
- Providing primary support for the preparation, coordination and submission of research grants, including:

- Coordinating all submission requirements and grant submissions using Research Net or the appropriate portal
- Collecting Letters of Support
- Maintaining the Principal Investigators CV
- Assisting the development of grant / project budgets
- Coordinating all reporting
- Acting as the primary point of contact for all grant related inquiries and support
- Supporting the development and completion of study related agreements
- Providing administrative support for meetings, including scheduling, preparing meeting agendas and required background material, producing and distributing minutes and ensuring follow-up of action items
- Handling confidential documents

**Rate of Pay**: To commensurate with experience

**Hours of Work**: 37.5 hours per week

**Duration**: 1 year with potential for renewal

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s or PhD degree in Health Sciences, Epidemiology or related field
- Proficiency in conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Proficiency in GRADE methodology
- Experience writing for publication
- Experience working with granting agencies or project management (e.g. monitoring timelines, scope, budget and deliverables) is an asset
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis

Immunization Requirements:

- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
