**THE ROLE**

The Sales Associate responds to enquiries from customers providing them with information on merchandising and ensuring the store shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed. You may take and prepare food and beverage orders and prepare takeout food, while ensuring cleanliness of food service and eating areas.

**QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED** Education, Certifications and Licenses**

Bilingual (English and French) Essential

Perform moderate lifting, carrying, pulling and/or pushing (i.e. more than 10 lbs/4.5 kg but less than 50 lbs/23 kg)

This is an on-site position with an assigned work location.

Weekday only position, part time hours between 07:30 am and 3:00 pm. Usual shifts lengths from 5 to 8 hours, (15-24 hours a week on average). Site has nearby paid parking available, and an OC Transpo stop.

A rewarding job serving members of the Canadian Armed Forces and the Defense Community at the Downtown Ottawa Major General Pearkes National Defense Headquarters. A security screening will be required.
