**Position Overview**:
**Key Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Network and collaborate with PSD and PCN staff, school-based support teams, and community partners to determine appropriate preventative mental health supports for school-aged students
- Analyze data collected through a student survey tool (SOS-Q) and utilize to create preventative resources and lessons connected to targeted identified areas of need
- Develop research-based, culturally appropriate, and differentiated lessons/activities for use in classrooms and community to support mental health needs of school-aged children and youth (e.g., mental health promotion, depression, anxiety, resilience, healthy peer relationships)
- Provide leadership in the sharing of and modeling of evidence-based practices in the area of preventative mental health supports for students
- Organize and curate a library of lessons, resources, and prevention strategies that are accessible to PSD and PCN employees
- Facilitate professional learning opportunities for PSD and PCN staff to focus on the implementation of mental health lessons & resources
- Provide support and feedback on PSD and PCN joint initiatives
- Ensure accurate, objective, and timely documentation as relevant to the work.
- This position may require local travel, including the use of a personal vehicle and valid Alberta Driver’s License.

**Experience, Skills & Qualifications**:

- Preferred Master’s Degree in related clinical field.
- Current licensure with appropriate professional licensing body.
- Previous experience:

- Preventative mental-health and/or mental-health promotion experience required
- Research and data analysis skills
- Leadership/education/organizational development
- Experience working with professionals from multiple cultures/ethnicities
- Proven track record of ability to work as part of a collaborative team focused on developing effective, solution-focused plans
- Experience in facilitating professional development, coaching and/or mentorship for staff
- Understanding and demonstrated experience with action research and evidence-based intervention strategies to support child and youth well-being
- Primary health care setting preferred
- Understand the Alberta privacy laws and act according to those laws.
- Should behave responsibly, be accountable and have excellent written and verbal skills, problem solving/critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication skills; both orally and in writing

**Salary**: $35.00-$43.00 per hour
