**Mission**

We are looking for a lead manager that will act as a strategic business partner with vice presidents and managers in Quebec by supporting the implementation of our best HR practices in terms of performance management, retention and engagement, development, talent acquisition, wellness, change management, etc. As a lead manager, you will also ensure the engagement and development of your own team.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Manage, develop, lead and support the human resources business partners team in Quebec
- Act as a partner and coach with leaders and managers regarding all aspects of human resources management
- Build relationships and collaborate with business leaders to align HR practices and initiatives with business needs
- Understand the stakes and challenges of HR management in Quebec, and closely work with all HR teams to support the delivery, deployment and promotion of HR programs and processes, as well as cross-functional initiatives
- Participate in the strategic planning processes
- Build strong professional relationships with managers and employees to promote trust, engagement and retention
- Identify opportunities for improvement and HR risks, and help managers address those in a responsible and strategic manner by supporting the exercise and development of their leadership
- Act as a change agent in a rapid growth context, in keeping with CIMA+’s values and corporate culture
- Keep abreast of applicable laws and regulations, best practices, and trends in terms of human resources management

**Profile**
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or any other related area
- Ten years of experience in human resources management
- Fluency in both French and English is vital in this role for seamless interactions with our diverse stakeholder base, ensuring clear communication and to complete our various projects nationwide
- Prior HR Business partnership and managing experience
- Good leadership skills, ability to influence, and coaching skills
- Recognized ability in terms of business partnership and client care focus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven mindset
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a high degree of adaptability and resilience
- Ability to improve practices through creativity and innovation
- Good knowledge of laws and regulations
- CPHR or CIRC accreditation (an asset)
- Knowledge of the professional services or consulting engineering sectors (an asset)
