**Position Description**:
**Here's What You'll Get to Do**:
- Assist with database design, in conjunction with Principal Investigator and Database Analyst. Ensure the quality of the database and supervise database cleaning. Perform/assist with data entry and analysis, including planning.
- Develop analytical methods for data and information processing
- Prepare datasets for data validation
- Participate in the development of a program centered on machine learning with an initial focus on data from the electronic health records
- Collaborate with the machine learning specialist to ensure accuracy of the data and analysis
- Help to define and improve our internal standards for coding style, maintainability, and best practices
- Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review, including testing, documentation, and reproducibility
**Here's What You'll Need**
- Post-secondary degree in sciences, computer science, statistics, health sciences
- 1-2 years¿ experience in a clinical research setting is preferred
- Proficiency in R, SQL, Python, Git and shell scripting
- Experience implementing algorithms for the processing of large datasets
- Excellent project and time management skills and a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a diverse team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated creativity and latitude in problem solving, including the ability to prioritize and execute multiple competing tasks
- A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion objectives
**Employment Type**: Temporary, Full-time (1 year Contract with possibility of extension)
