**Brief Summary of Role**:
Salesforce CDP, now rebranded as
**Salesforce Data Cloud**, is the data management and audience segmentation layer within Salesforce Marketing Cloud — their all-in-one solution. To support CDP use-cases throughout the customer lifecycle, multiple Salesforce tools are required in addition to just the Salesforce CDP.

**Responsiblities**:

- Unify & Identify data from Marketing Cloud, Sales and Service Cloud and other external platforms. This data is then unified through data mapping and identity resolution rules to create a ‘golden customer record’2.
- Segment data and build complex segmentation criteria using a ‘clicks not code’ approach in an intuitive interface2.
- Build a single source of truth/create a unified customer profile across all touchpoints3.
- Collect and unify data from anywhere including Salesforce, AppExchange, and partners, plus the unmatched scale of hundreds of MuleSoft industry-leading APIs

**Education and Required Experience**:
a. Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in SFMC.

b. Should have worked on a CDP/Data Cloud Implementation.

c. Show have working knowledge on at least the first 3 areas of CDP listed below.

Data Ingestion

Unification

Segmentation

Activation

d. Experience on integrating major Platforms like SFDC, SFMC at a minimum

e. Should have knowledge about both Batch and Real Time Integration Options.

f. Good to have knowledge on basic Data Model understanding of Financial Services Cloud.

g. Good Experience in SQL Queries, Data Model Concepts
