**Salary**: $2,073.50 to $2,549.41 bi-weekly ($54,118 - $66,539/year)

**Role Responsibilities**:
Do you have a strong background in Sentence Administration and a desire to expand your leadership abilities? The Edmonton Remand Centre is looking to fill a vital Sentence Administration Supervisor position with someone who can provide leadership, direction, guidance and training to the Sentence Administration unit employees.

Reporting to the Chief Sentence Administrator, you will be responsible for providing daily and ongoing training, mentoring, policy and procedure formulation and update, process issue resolution, and other related tasks as required by the Chief Sentence Administrator or Sentence Administration Manager.

You will be expected to have a thorough knowledge of the departmental policies, Criminal code of Canada, Youth Criminal Justice Act and various other Federal and Provincial Statutes related to detention, sentence and release of Inmates. You will also possess in-depth knowledge in intricate sentence and release calculation, document legalese and you will carry a fulsome understanding of judicial and stakeholder interface as part of the material you will train and guide the Sentence Administration unit on. You are also responsible for managing a variety of special projects for initiatives within the Sentence Administration unit to include but not limited to Training and development, Employee engagement, policies and procedures and quality assurance. Attention to detail is paramount for this role.

You may also be required to provide cover off for the Chief Sentence Administrator when necessary.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma plus four years of related experience is required. Proficiency with Microsoft Word is also required. Intermediate to advanced knowledge and experience with Systems such as JOIN, ORCA, I-REQUEST and CPIC training is an asset. Extensive working Knowledge of in Warrant and Sentence administration is required for this role.

Equivalencies will be considered on a one for one basis
- One year of experience for one year of education or ;
- One year of education for one year of experience

**Notes**:
There is one full-time Permanent, and these positions are 36.25 hour per week commitment Monday through Friday 8:15am to 4:30pm. Overtime may be Required
