**Responsibilities**:

- Assist multiple Press Operators with proper wash-up, storage of removable equipment, plates and tooling by understanding the daily priorities and the following day schedule.
- Maintain a proper priority based upon the machine availability, estimated run times and direction from the press operators to avoid unnecessary extended wait times for starting the scheduled production jobs.
- As indicated by the Press Operator, document any and all changes needed for repeat runs to ensure revision of docket and information is maintained. Ensure all checks are made on Quality Control Documents and cross checked.
- Read docket thoroughly for instructions and to ensure all elements of the job are readily available i.e. (Plates, dies, print cylinders, material, inks)
- Guillotine cut the different plates accurately and according to Lintec’s SOP’s
- Mount plates into cylinders or sleeves with precision and accuracy
- Wash plates I mediately after use and store them in the respective docket
- Maintain the area organize to avoid misplacement of cylinders, dies, sleeves and plates.
- Any duty necessary to maintain production, a clean orderly work bench and press environment. Some Heavy lifting required.
- Dispose of matrix scrap for every printing machine on a regular basis
- Support the flow of work in progress at every press
- Sweep the floor of the company as needed
- Any other as required

**Skills**:

- Completion of Grade 12
- Understanding of basic printing technologies
- Basic mounting skills
- Aptitude for basic math
- Visual acuity and colour perception necessary to distinguish colour shades
- Strong attention to detail. Good communication skills
- Able to perform physical requirements of the job
- Must work within productivity standards and completes work in a timely manner.
- Special Projects & other duties as necessary
- Must be able to work afternoons and or evening shift.
- Proficient in operating various types of printing equipment, including prepress, warehouse, and other machines
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of different printing techniques and processes
- Ability to read and interpret job orders and schedules
- Basic computer skills for operating digital printing equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with the printing equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
