Job Summary:
We are seeking a prosthetic/orthotic technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for performing various technical tasks, under the direction of a certified technician and the clinician.

**Duties**:

- Fabrication and assembly of prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Laminations with acrylic and epoxy resins
- Vacuum forming of thermoplastics
- Operation of a variety of small hand tools, grinders, drill-press, and free-arm sewing machine
- Static and bench alignment of componentry
- Repairs to prosthetic/orthotic devices
- Shoe modifications
- Collaboration with other team members - clincians and administration

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in using technical tools and equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical certifications are a plus

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, kinesiology

Applicant will have the ability to learn, gather internship hours, to sit for OPC qualified technician certificate.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
