**Duties**:
Acting as the first point of contact for recruitment-related activities, supports the recruitment process by providing service to internal and external clients. This includes creating and processing job postings and hiring recommendations in a timely fashion, and providing customer care to search committees, managers, and applicants,

Provides training and workshops to managers, faculty, and staff on recruitment policies and procedures, including applicant tracking system (ATS) training; provides current and thorough guidelines regarding recruitment processes.

Develops and updates Recruitment procedures and materials for meetings and presents information at events such as recruitment training workshops, career fairs, etc.

Supports search committee chairs and members with recruitment processes and decision-making, including reviewing competency requirements and assessment methods. Works with search committee chairs to minimize time to fill a vacancy.

Maintains the job posting system, including granting user access, maintaining workflows, adding and updating job description templates and troubleshooting user issues.

Advertises positions in strategic alignment with the role and needs of the institution. Posts to multiple job boards such as LinkedIn Recruiter, BCJobs, Indeed or industry-specific job boards tailored to specialized talent pools as required.

Using an EDI lens, the Recruitment Coordinator supports the Advisor, Recruitment & EDI to collaborate with managers and senior-level staff on EDI recruitment initiatives to develop information and tools, conduct relevant research, and report on related metrics to support recruitment practices and promote diversity initiatives.

Collaborates with Human Resources administrators in designing EDI online training courses. Responsible for ongoing course management, including enrolment of students, editing content, graphics, and multimedia in Brightspace, and refining approaches to course creation.

Keeps abreast of new EDI developments and best practices.

**Required Qualifications**:
Two-year diploma in Human Resources, or a related discipline, from an appropriately accredited institution, and minimum three years' recent relevant work experience in a complex, unionized environment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of major HR functions, including planning, developing and implementing recruitment-related projects.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to increasing accessibility, equity, and diversity.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to conduct group presentations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of confidential office practices and procedures; Information management skills to establish and maintain files.
- Detail-oriented with an aptitude for metrics.
- Creative problem solving and adaptability.
- A deep understanding of the importance of strong client service, high-quality work, and honoring deadlines.
