**Compensation**:$47.30-55.60 per hour, plus time and a half and overtime at 2x.

**Location**: West Kelowna

**Job Type**: Full-Time
- **Nutritional Care**:

- Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
- Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of residents.
- **Care Plan Management**:

- Work with the healthcare team to establish, implement, and evaluate food service and nutritional programs that meet the individualized needs of residents.
- Monitor adherence to advancing the nutritional care plans and evaluate nutritional care effectiveness.
- **Education and Training**:

- Provide nutritional education to residents, families, and staff to ensure understanding of and compliance with nutritional recommendations and regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest nutritional science research and participate in educational programs.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Document and maintain accurate records of patients' progress and services provided for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Participate in facility audits to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of British Columbia.
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical or long-term care setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven experience in dietary planning, education, and patient care.
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $47.30-$55.60 per hour
