Kiya Developments is a growing organization that provides all inclusive solutions from Architects, Engineers, Planners, Real Estate Agents, Designers, Construction Development and Project Management. We are involved with land acquisitions, development, and construction.
We provide a turnkey solution regardless the size of project with focus on bringing clients vision to life from concept to completion.
We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Accounting and Office Administrator.
Roles & Responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
- Process payroll for all employees using ADP Payroll Software
- Prepare and process invoices and payments
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements
- Prepare and file taxes
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Provide customer service to clients
- Full cycle AP&AR: sorting and matching invoice, coding and entering transactions, issuing cheques, collecting, verifying and filing, and making deposits etc.
- Make monthly bank reconciliation. Analysis budget of project cost. Calculate project profits
- Calculate and prepare: payroll in a timely manner and prepare source deduction remittance on monthly basis, and HST return for multiple subdivisions in monthly or annually base.
- Assist accountant with year end financials and preparing T-4's for employees
- Typing accurately, preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records.
- Weekly reporting as required by office team
- Ensure high-level accuracy of financial records with use of Quickbooks
- Must be proficient in Quickbooks, Excel & other general office software
- Dedicated, focused, ability to prioritize, multitask and follow through with project goals.
- Must be a team player
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in (Construction) Accounting and Payroll
- Proficiency with QuickBooks (3-5 years experience)
- Proficiency with ADP Payroll Software
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
- Attention to detail and accuracy
