**About the Role**:
The Commissions Analyst plays an important role in administering the commission process within Serenia Life. This individual is primarily responsible for accurately creating and maintaining profiles and ensuring the accurate distribution of commissions to advisors. The Commissions Analyst works closely with other departments, including Distribution, New Business, and Operations, to ensure timely and accurate payments. This individual will:

- Communicate directly with our Advisors and MGAs regarding commissions matters.
- Facilitate commissions changes
- Run reports (scheduled and ad hoc) in support of our Distribution team and our advisors
- Investigate commissions inquiries, errors, or challenges
- Continuously review and refine commission processes to streamline operations, improve accuracy, and enhance overall efficiency
- Identify opportunities for automation or system enhancements to optimize commission administration
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards related to commission calculations, payments, and documentation

**What You Bring to the Table**:

- Comprehensive understanding of the Broker Channel/MGA structure
- Demonstrated ability to establish and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to leverage analytical skills to review and understand transactional data, identifying and correcting identified errors
- Superior written and oral communication skills

**Nice to Haves**:

- Previous experience in a commissions-related role, ideally with prior working knowledge of a life insurance commission software platform (ex. PMACs, FASAT, etc.)
