**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Both our culinary and front of house staff members consist of people who work to make memorable experiences for our guests, from handcrafted dishes to flawless table service, focused on excellence in every detail**. **We are seeking a Salad Chef** **who is creative, ambitious and a visionary.

**Qualifications and Requirement**:

- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Salad Chef in commercial kitchens.
- A combination of both standalone restaurant and luxury hotel experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated passion for creative salad presentation, guest experience and colleague engagement.
- Understanding of safe work practices and initiatives to reduce or eliminate accidents.

**Requirements**:

- Current food handler license.
- Knowledge of food production methods.
- Leadership skills.
- Thorough and attention to details.
- Creative in the design and presentation of new dishes.
- Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
- Excellent team spirit with a customer-focused attitude.
- Flexible to work in shifts including weekends and evenings.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent listening skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Quick decision-making skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Prepare food according to recipes and plate as required
- Maintain a clean kitchen and surrounding areas.
- Maintain tools and equipment.
- Assist any BOH position necessary
- Perform activities that maintain the safety of the kitchen, staff, and customers.
