Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Salad Chef to join our team. As a Salad Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Salad menu, ensuring high-quality food production, dishwashing and cleaning the kitchen, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. If you have a passion for food, strong leadership skills, and a background in the food service industry, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and other kitchen workers
- Plan and develop menus in collaboration with the management team
- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
- Train new kitchen staff members on proper cooking techniques and procedures
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team
- Excellent cooking skills with knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Experience in supervising kitchen operations in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff members and customers
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Note: All positions at our company are paid positions.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (required)

Work Location: In person
