**Location**: Toronto Pearson Airport
**Wage**:$27.47/hour for 40 hours/week
**This is a Bargaining Unit Position.**

**Scope**
Oversee the Port of Entry (POE) Airport services activities by supporting the resettlement of government-assisted refugees and privately sponsored refugees upon their arrival to Canada. This will include the provision of immediate and essential services, such as assisting in landing papers, transportation to the final destination, coordinating with reception centers, and coordinating with Canada Border Services (CBSA) and transportation contractors.
**Responsibilities**
- Keep Program Manager (PM) and Program Coordinator (PC) up-to-date with POE activities
- Collaborate with Admin Assistants on updating records with new or revised Notifications of Arrivals and communicate with the Polycultural resettlement counselors, related departments, and organizations regarding changes or cancellations
- Ensure all scheduled employees report to work as planned
- Coordinate with staff to ensure all refugee arrivals are received and services are provided
- Support refugee arrivals at the airport, including escorting, interpreting, and supporting in completion of declarations and other paper work
- Assist refugees through border services and other security checks
- Coordinate transportation arrangements to final destinations
- Communicate emergency situations to the PM and PC
- Responsible for arranging and maintaining Polycultural’s office at the Airport in good operation
- Create and maintain partnerships with various government and transportation partners
- Data entry, preparation of reports
- Seasonal distribution of clothing to clients

**Qualifications**
- University degree in Business Administration or Community/Social Work, or equivalent combination of education
- Minimum 3 years' of related work experience
- Proficiency with second language is an asset (French, Arabic, Swahili, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Spanish)
- Proven ability to lead and promote a positive and professional team culture
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and on a flexible schedule
- Strong computer skills with advanced Excel knowledge and database skills
