**Duties & Responsibilities**

We are looking for an experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to advise and share their expertise on various projects.

Your primary task will be to manage the various needs of our clients with the company’s resources. You will also be working closely with clients to ensure all the health and safety protocols and programs are in accordance with government regulations.
- Development and implementation of safety protocols for staff and contractors
- Assists project lead and other operations staff in ensuring compliance with and enforcing applicable H&S legislation, regulations, codes and standards in addition to client H&S requirements on various projects.
- Keep current on all safety legislation/regulations relevant to the industry and evaluate policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety programs and government legislation/regulation.
- Work with partners to ensure that HSE inspections are regularly conducted on field, facility and office locations with the purpose of identifying and mitigating issues before they become incidents.
- Supervise and mentor Co-op students, providing guidance and support in their professional development within the realm of health and safety.
- Provide comprehensive assistance to clients in WSIB dashboard enrollment and utilization, ensuring seamless navigation and comprehension of its features while concurrently monitoring member progress and delivering continuous feedback.
- Develop health and safety programs, policies, and plans as per the applied rules and regulations.
- Create and customize resources and templates to support clients in their diverse projects and programs, streamlining their workflows and enhancing productivity.
- Support the management of projects and maintain active relationships with clients.
- Conducting gap assessments of management systems
- Managing paperwork like invoices, work orders etc.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

**Qualification**
- Preferred: CRSP, ISO Lead Auditor, COR Auditor, NCSO, and GSC
- Familiar with inspection and auditing technologies
- Experience in workplace/site inspections, audits, incident investigations, gap analysis, addressing H&S hazards and challenges, and conducting hazard assessments
- Proven record of developing, implementing, and embedding a strong safety culture on project sites
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Starter and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $58,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
