**Position Description**:
We are currently recruiting for a 0.4 FTE Project Manager position for the Neurovascular Program at SickKids. We are searching for a person with a healthcare professional background, particularly with experience in children and adolescents with bleeding stroke, to join our team and help coordinate a clinically integrated research and education program in vascular malformations of the central nervous system and bleeding stroke.

**Here’s What You’ll Get To Do**:

- Coordinating and managing a variety of clinical/research projects.
- Work with key stakeholders to prioritize and scope of projects, tasks, and timelines with the goal of optimizing achievement of project deliverables.
- Collect and disseminate information to clinicians and scientists regarding translational research programs.
- Facilitates meetings with key stakeholders to ensure positive progress.
- Ensures the delivery of project status reports to the project sponsors and key stakeholders.
- Develop research project plans and timelines and work with scientists and research staff to coordinate project completion.
- Meet regularly with scientific project teams; discuss next steps in projects and milestones are achieved.
- Identify funding opportunities, seek new sources, investigate eligibility.
- Remain current on provincial, federal, and private funding environment, programs and guidelines, and provide interpretation to scientists, colleagues and management.
- Ad hoc projects as required.

**Here’s What You’ll Need**:

- Master’s degree in a health-related field or familiarity with the academic research and/or clinical environment in the oncology field.
- 5 years relevant work experience.
- Prior experience in coordinating projects and interacting with a wide range of professionals is an asset.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to handle multiple projects/timelines and prioritize time-sensitive issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and disseminate results to a variety of stakeholders.
- Competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Exceptional project management skills, and an ability to prioritize work in response to multiple demands in a high-volume environment.
- Must be able to interface with all levels within the Research Institute.
- High level of maturity and discretion is required.
- You are able to think strategically, and have leadership skills.
- You must be self-motivated, proactive, and have demonstrated excellence in ability to collaborate effectively with others towards mutual goals.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

**Employment Type**:
Temporary Part-time, 0.40 FTE, 1 year Contract (renewable)
