Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced butcher (with the ability to communicate in Farsi and English )to join our team in the food industry. As a butcher, you will be responsible for various duties related to food preparation, packaging, and customer service. If you have a passion for the kitchen, enjoy working with food, and have excellent customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

**Duties**:

- Perform butchering tasks, including meat, poultry, and fish cutting and preparation
- Package and label food products according to established guidelines
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food items
- Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and assisting with product selection
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a butcher shop.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner

Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including internship positions.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Coquitlam, BC V3H 4E2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
