Butcher - Meat Cutter

Fruiticana is seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meat for our customers. This is a permanent position requiring 40 hours of work per week.
Key Responsibilities- Cut carcasses, sides and quarters
- Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat
- Wrap and package prepared meats
- Remove bones from meat
- Cut poultry into parts
- Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
- Slice cooked meats
- Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products
- Shape, lace and tie roasts, other meats, poultry and seafood
- Prepare special orders
This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing and walking. You must be able to work accurately and have good hand-eye coordination.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
