In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
We are currently recruiting for top talent in PMO Operations Pod Leader

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and lead the implementation of process improvement projects across various functional areas of the business using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Assist with the identification and quantification of Critical Business Needs (CBN) and primary opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement a demand management forecasting strategy using predictive analysis of historical data to estimate and predict customers’ future demand for services.
- Weave together end-to-end process documentation.
- Review and improve existing process documentation.
- Provide advice, expertise, and business case impact assessments to senior leadership.
- Develop and facilitate Design Thinking workshops to solve complex problems.
- Coordinate the account's annual planning session.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other stakeholders to develop proposal documents/presentations.
- Manage the account’s contract development and amendment process.
- Manage account references for Bids & Proposals (B&P).
- Spearhead the account’s Innovation Board.
- Provide weekly status reports to senior leadership.
- Perform ad-hoc requests to support the Project Management Office (e.g., data analysis, client management, etc.)
- Must be located onsite at our IBM office in Bedford, Nova Scotia

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in process improvement, change management, continuous improvement, or a related field.
- Six Sigma and Lean certifications required; Master Black belt preferred
- Experience documenting current “as-is” operations/processes; designing new “to-be” operations/processes; defining improvements; creating/executing against strategic implementation plans.
- Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Visio, and other process mapping tools.
- Ability to adapt and be flexible with changing requirement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate different perspectives and arrive at a decision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with business representatives and project team members.
- Advanced presentation and written communication skills.
- Organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail and a proven ability to prioritize competing demands.
- Eligible to obtain Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability clearance.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Change Management Certification (e.g., CCMF, Prosci, CMS, CCMP)
- Prior consulting experience.
- Prior Public Sector experience.
