The Shared Secretariat department is a buzzing team often supporting events for the FNHC/FNHDA where onsite support can be needed. This is a talented team where someone can gain their experience for professional growth.

**Title**: Administrative Assistant
**Salary**: $51,593 - $64,491 - $70,940 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hours (Monday
- Friday)
**Location**: Park Royal Head Office - on the ancestral Coast Salish Territories of the Squamish, Musqueam & Tsleil-Waututh Nations. This a 100% on-site/in-office position.

**About the role**
As Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the Manager of Office Operations and Projects in supporting the FNHC and FNHDA. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks this includes: finance support (honoraria, travel claims and Invoices), Inventory management, and coordination of travel and prepare for events and meetings.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have
- Post-secondary course work in office administration, plus 2 to 4 years administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- You may have experience in
- Experience working with BC First Nations Communities and/or organizations
- Experience utilizing a variety of office tools including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint with an aptitude to embrace mastery of new computer systems and databases
- Experience in the establishment and maintenance of filing systems and file management processes
- Experience in meeting preparation processes and minute taking
- Experience in event planning for events such as meetings, training session, engagement sessions, conferences
- Knowledge of administrative services, processes and procedures
- Knowledge of information, records and data management approaches

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.
The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
