**Position Overview**:The Accounts Payable performs general accounting activities while carrying out their duties and responsibilities in a competent, trust-worthy and loyal manner. This role would be involved in Accounts Payable function. The Person is expected to maintain a level of work which is quality based, timely, efficient and professional on behalf of IMW.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for overall Accounts Payable function.
- Vendor Account reconciliation.
- Liaise with both internal and external parties for effective vendor account management.
- Posting of transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data.
- Running vendor check run process - as & when required.
- Effective monitoring of vendor ageing to ensure payments are made to vendor in a timely manner.
- Bank account reconciliations at periodic times (Weekly/Monthly).
- Processing Invoices as per company norms within ERP (with allowable variances).
- Inter departmental follow-up for Invoice correction and approvals.
- Vendor communication.
- Corporate credit card account reconciliation and maintenance.
- Month End reporting & analysis.
- Accounts Payable lead for SAP implementation.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.

**Other**:

- Know and understand workplace health and safety rights and responsibilities.

- Maintain a safe working environment within the department and on each job.
- Use the protective clothing, devices, and equipment required for the job.
- Complete all applicable quality records.
- Perform work in accordance with IMW documented policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Graduate preferred with min 2-3 experience in handling account payable function.
- Experience in accounts payable policies and procedures.
- Experience in filing systems and file maintenance.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in one-on-one and small group situations.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business information and procedures.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Working knowledge of basic office computer software and equipment including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new programs as required.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and research abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ability to calculate and summarize figures.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.
- Regularly required to stand, walk or sit; use hands to operate computers, office equipment; use vision and hearing to deal with communication and office materials.
