**Overview**

**Duties**:

- Assist the Housekeeping Manager and with the upkeep of the hotel, including guestrooms, office areas and public spaces, ensuring areas are kept at the highest cleaning standard
- All tasks are to be completed in a professional and timely manner
- Daily distribution of room and duty assignments to Housekeeping Team
- Daily patrol of hotel looking for security and cleanliness issues
- Report all maintenance deficiencies in guestrooms and public areas
- Confirm that current status of room types mirrors that of the system
- Refresh all arrivals for that day
- Communicate with Front Desk on status of early and late departures, early check-ins, special requests, etc.
- Inspect vacant and occupied rooms being cleaned for that day and ensure that rooms are up to the highest Hilton quality and standards
- Check and restock housekeeping storage areas
- Assist in laundry as required
- Assist in cleaning suites and public spaces as required
- Properly communicate the status of all cleaned rooms to the Housekeeping Manager
- Daily response to lost and found as well as monthly control
- Ensure adequate staffing in place for the next days’ needs
- Ensure pool is up to standards
- Close housekeeping department at the end of the day
- Serve as AM/PM or weekend MOD as scheduled, including engaging with guests, aiding in other Departments in decision making to ensure guest satisfaction
- Participate in all special cleaning programs and projects
- Assist with monthly and annual inventory of guest supplies, linen and cleaning supplies as required
- Participate in all special cleaning programs and projects
- Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with team members and Department Heads
- Act and communicate with professionalism while dealing with guests and coworkers
- All other duties as assigned by the HM and/or GM

**Skills**:

- Ability to meet the physical and mental requirements of the position
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work within a team environment and have the ability to complete all assigned tasks with little to no supervision
- Ability to perform basic maintenance duties
- This position will require weekend and holiday shifts

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every Weekend
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- On call
